Now I'm only lvl 3, so I realize I wont be getting one for a while, I was just wondering what missions I should concentrate on to get a stronghold quickly.

I'm in the fighters guild (just finished getting debt money from the woman in Suran)

Imperial Legion-havnt done anything yet.

Blades-havn't done anything yet

I'm planning on joining House Redoran.

You get the stronghold via the Great Houses. So if you want to join Redoran, thats fine. Concentrate on their skills for a while, and when you rank to about House Cousin or maybe a little bit lower, talk to Galsa Gindu in the Redoran Council Halls for your Redoran Stronghold. Pretty early level, though. If you can do the quests, though, go for it!
