Layennes tomb - gem of pain

well, i've looked through all the threads before starting this one myself - and since i cannot find the answer, i need help now!
I'm in Layennes tomb and cannot find the gem of pain!
I've searched the place twice and looked in a walkthrough and still i cannot find the gem. In he WT there was a map marked with the places, where the gems were supposed to be, but i still need the last one. an anyone remenber exactly where this particular gem is? I'm going crazy here...:-/

Argh! I've wracked my brain to no avail. I can't remember! I checked my favorite walk-through and it just says to collect all four - it does not list where they can be found. I *do* remember that the Pain gem was the first one I found... if that helps. I assume if you've gotten this far you must be using the TAB key to spot items, so I won't waste your time telling you to try that...

If I recall correctly, the pain gem is somewhere near the place where you kill the golem.
