Temple Quest query

Post by Silver Knight »

I have a quest for the temple to read the inscription on a magic rock (in Maar Gan, I think) which is fine, but then I am supposed to imitate Vivec's actions....? I have to find someone being pelted with rocks and taunt the thrower into throwing them at me instead?
"Magic is impressive but Minsc leads now, swords for everyone!"

"It is no shame to run away now and to come back later with bigger swords!"

Speak with the Dremora inside the Maar Gan temple - all should become clear. ;)

Highlight for spoiler:

Taunt the dremora until he attacks you (I like his last line ;) ) and kill him. Click on the Rock again, and you're done!
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Thanks, Sojourner. I didn't read the spoiler until after I had completed the quest. The idiot at the temple in Ald Ruhn told me to talk to the priest, not the Dremora

I agree, the Dremora's last line is a real peach. Almost a shame I couldn't "return the favour" after felling him with one blow from my Daedric battleaxe ;)
