A few random questions??

Ok...so i did tomis quest and got his little ring...adds to open lock or something..soo question one is...do i have to have open lock to take advantage of this ring?

now i have daelin....got his amulet and i was wondering how the upgrade system works???...like everytime i level up it gets better or what?

my final questoin is regarding that marrek fellow(the forge guy)..i got a suit of armour with an armor class of five...then i got the holy water..(i got holy water from the yan-te(if thats how you spell it)..and thats the holy water im trying to get him to use....but he says i have nothing for him to make..???..oh yea i forgot..im trying to make scales of truth??

i can only answer your last question, ive made the scales of truth before. You need a magical armor with the TOTAL base armor class to be 5... so you need a chainshirt or scalemail with a base ac of 4 but it has to be +1 so the +1 is added onto the 4 to make a total of 5.

In the later chapters the henchmen will have more questes for you to do where you will recive upgraded items.

To answer you first question, yes you have to have the Open Lock skill to take advantage of the ring.

thx soo much...umm so does this mean i gotta hang on to daelin if i wanna get the kick arse necklace??

No, you don't need to hang on to Daelan. In each of chapters 1, 2, and 3, every henchman will have a quest that you can get by talking to them once you hit a high enough level. The chap. 2 and 3 quests improve the items you got in chap. 1. If you did not do the chap. 1 quest, you will not be able to complete chap. 2 and 3 for that henchman.

You can also dismiss a henchmen after doing his quest - and then pick him up again in the next chapter to do the quest.
