MODs are great, but how about a whole new game? Icewind Dale II just went gold, so it will be out pretty soon, and it might be a lot of fun.

Since this is about ToB, I'm moving it over to the ToB folder.

Try the Ascension mod if you haven't already...I'm sure many will agree that it spices things up.

I found the Solaufein mod quite fun, as it also works with ToB...

Hey in your guys opinion Is it more fun to be able to create an entire party before setting out for adventure (IceWind Dale)
or more enjoyable to meet up with characters by accident in a quest or so on? (Baldurs Gate)

BG2 style npcs are better IMO...although I am looking forward to seeing IWD2, I really like the infinite possibilities for character classses that 3rd edition rules offer.

I like both. :) You can customize your party completely in IWD, and in BG2 you have the interactions. Both are great, IMHO. :)

One day Return to Windspear will be released... one day.

Your grandchildren will be able to tell you about it.

If hope is so low, maybe it's time to focus on the Imoen Mod, and finish at least that one! :D :D :p

The Imoen mod will barely move until Return to Windspear is complete... hope is high. It's coming along, and it looks like it will add more characters to the TLK than any other WeiDU mod yet.

Any idea when RoW will be complete?

Then I'll keep buying dummy games to ease the wait! :(
Or maybe I'll try an EVIL party for once, who knows, in
case too much waiting manages to drive me *that* mad! ;)

RoW? I'll guess that's directed at RtW... if not you've lost nothing.

It's hard to tell. We were forging ahead, I had two people converting my dialogue into WeiDU format (as dialogue is where we're lagging most), but I've lost them both now. So now I have to write, then convert, then write, then convert, and so on...

Its put us back somewhat.

With inputters I think we could finish within the next two months (remembering it's a new ToB NPC and a sub-plot for an existing NPC in addition to a ToB quest). Without... I'm not sure.

On the up side (depending on what you're looking for) I think we're going to add about 100 000 words to the TLK by the time we're done. In terms of characters we're going to add more to the TLK than any other mod.

I suggest you place that information, along with your link, in the BG reference crossroads sticky thread, so it doesn't get lost. :)

@Quitch, you almost killed me.... :(
I would help if I could, but I know nothing about Weidu..
We'll keep waiting and supporting!!!!

And the other hand, Jason here seems to have a major breakthrough! :)
