Double Jeopardy

1. First come first serve to open the game. After the first question has been answered, the person who got it right will get to choose the next question, with certain restrictions. Since this is a message board, and as such all the contestants will not be on at the same time, no one can ecer pick a question more than twice in a row. In the event someone gets 2 questions right in a row, they may not pick the next one. This is the only way I can think of to keep one person from running the board if they are the only one online. Instead, after the second correct answer, the next question will be chosen by first come first serve basis.

2. After a question has been asked, the first person to respond with the correct answer will be awarded the points. To speed up game play, if you think someone has answered a question wrong, you do not need to wait until they are told so. just go ahead and post your asnwer as well. Once I get here, points will be awarded to the first correct answer.

3.You can answer a question only one time.Once you have answered incorrectly, you must wait until 3 more incorrect answers have been submitted before answering again.

4. There are no limits to the number of contestants who can play. As each person gains points, there name will be added in the space under the board along with their point totals.

5. At the end of the game, the top 3 players will be given the opportunity to wager on the final question. I will give the catagory, and will reveal the question after I have all three players notify me via PM of their wagers. After the question is revealed, players will PM me their answers and I will post them, along with the amount wagered.

6. Sorry Dottie......Kam has a point....no googling (Oggling at other players, however, is encouraged

Not necessarily, Ned. The scores are doubled, so while your behind, if youre good, you can catch up.

In 1930, during a brewers strike, this beer, known as Gutter beer, was made by assistant brwers and was given it's current name to help market it and sell it after the strike because they had to much stored to just toss it out
