Baldur's Gate for PS2??????????

What is this I hear about a Balder's Gate coming out for the playstation2? called Dark Alliance or something? Anyone have any info? I just saw it on that link to neverwinter nights screenshots on gamebanshee.

Yeah it has nothing to do with the child of Bhaal story but it is based on forgotten realms.

that treu there will be an new Baldur's Gate game called Dark Alliance.
it will be an solo advanture and u can start as an : human Ranger, dwarven Worrior or an elven Priestres.
it will be an compleet new story.
it comes out late fall.

Absolutely correct.

BG: DA is nothing alike real BG games, it won't be even a RPG (it's action/RPG or action/arcade/RPG), it is completely another game and it is a shame that its developers are trying to make money on somebody else's success.
I don't think it'll be worth looking at.

Yep. And it's a realtime action game: no pausing, no parties. Does any of this sound remotely like BG2?

Why are you *****ing at the game?It's gonna have a great plot and the city of baldur's gate to explore with a lot of activity.
