Magister "Advancement Bug?"

Alright My game has the advancement bug in it, Stupid little aryn advances me right after I get my Mouth, Unfortunately I have Morrowind on Xbox, is there anyway I can stop Aryn advancing me to Master so that I will be able to get to archmagister?
I hope so because Telvanni is the coolest house and this is my third time trying to get past this (insert favorite vulgar word here) Thing!!!! If there is no way I'm going to be verrryyyy ANGRY!!!!!!

P.S. I tried killing my mouth before and after he was my mouth that didn't work either way. I also tried getting expelled and then reaccepted and that didn't work either.

Well, I became archmagister when he gave me the option to either become archmagister or master. If you dont get that option, I would make sure that youve completed all Telvanni quests and gotten your stronghold completed. If you have done that, I have no idea what could be wrong. Maybe you could try to kill the current Archmagister-I think Gothren is his name. But thats all I can think of right now. Sorry for the lowsy answer, but Im puzzled by the situation. It could be just a bug.

Yeah I tried killing the archmagister then going and getting my mouth, but as soon as I talk to him about my duites and my "mouth" he will promote me to master, so I can't get the rest of the quests done before he promotes me, also you can't complete your stronghold unless you are either a master, magister, or Archmagister. So I can't really do that...
Grrrr.... Why couldn't the stupid bug be in lousy old redoran promotions...

I was made a Master also without a Magister option. My Stronghold is complete though. I am still doing Quests for the other Telvanni Masters. (Heck, ...I even do errands for my "Mouth" LOL!!!!!) I did not know this is a bug. I just thought it was because I was already Arch-Mage when I joined House Telvanni, and they are sort of at odds.
Does this seriously Screw things up

Absolutely not. This is more of a pride thing to become Archmagister. It makes no difference plot-wise or Telvanni quest-wise. So no worries.
