I thought that since this board seems to have quite a number of inhabitants who enjoy a variety of esoteric subjects in areas such as art and philosophy, that I would establish a pub/cafe type of thread..... a retreat far from the madding crowd where you can curl up with your favourite beverage....alcoholic or herbal , and contemplate your navel....or somebody else's should you be so inclined.....

Drinks are on the house for those who demonstrate witty and erudite conversation....the rest of you will be charged a minimal fee...
