Armours.

I was thinking, Full Plate +1 is the best armour you can get early on right?
WRONG.
Full plate non magical with a ring or Pendant of Protection Plus 1 is way better!
Why? You get the same ac bonus, BUT you also get a +1 to saves you don't get if you just have the armour.
Also, does any one know if Ankheg plate is magical and what AC it is? I forget.
Also, what are you #1 choices for armour in the
Leather
Studded Leather
Chain
Splint
Plate
Full plate

True, but then you sacrifice the ring or neck space which could you be used to provide some other protection or ability. It's all about tradeoffs. Me, I'm willing to go with that Full Plate +1 and wear a few other empowered trinkets, but each to their own.

Ankheg Plate is magical, anc I think the AC for that one is 1.
Now let's see about my favorites, I'm gonna have to do some searching through SK on this one. I'll just make a list of a few I think are noteworthy in no particular order.

@Fable, Howmany great amulets are out there though?
Protection is ok, Of power is GREAT, Immunity to poison is also good, so 3.
As for rings, Rings of Protection +1 and 2, Regen, Human influence, Fire resistance.... Some good ones for wizards.
Its unlikely in a part of of 6 early in SoA to have enough rings and pendants that arent protectionary that you need to sacrifice that +1 saves in the name of armour...
Leather - The nights gift
Studded - Valygars personal armour
Chain- (early) Darkmail+ 3, Bladesinger later on
Splint- Armour of Faith
Plate - Delvers (early) Gorgan Late
Full Plate - Armour of the Hart.

You assume that ALL players have a high strenght.
If you have a PC with low strenght (I had 8) at the early stages
of the game, a magical armor is the only option, due to the reduced weight.
