Playing on hardest difficulty

Anyone ever try this? I'm currently playing a half orc barbarian on the hardest difficulty and the game is very tough so far( he's level 5). I got killed a number of times(like 15 lol). Don't know what people mean when they say nwn is an easy game

Its a lot of fun on hardest difficulty, very challenging, I think people should use that difficulty more. Cant wait to see how much damage dragons would do to me(hmm double damage of what they normally do.... yikes, oh yea and monsters can do critical hits as well)

Ok, here is my opinion. If you don't get hit, all the difficulties are the same.

You don't have to set the highest difficult level in order for the monsters to score critical hits, i'm playing hardcore D&D rules as my difficulty setting and i get critical hits as well. I prefer D&D hardcore rules anyway, i like to have things even when fighting.

I agree that people complaining about NWN being too easy havent tried hardest difficulty. Maybe not even hardcore rules.

Keep playing. The game difficulty doesn't seem to scale up as quickly as the melee characters do.
My monk got his butt liberally kicked (to borrow a phrase from Minsc) on normal difficulty up to about level 7/8.
I played the last half of the game on hardcore and it was easy.
