Hi....
Where can i Find a nice couple of boots of speed.

1-> In the Astral prison (under the five flagons inn I believe) were U have 2 save Hear' Dhalis and Realis Shai (or how u write it)...........right wenn you enter the Astral prison (the first battle) there is a gnome I believe who carries them


2-> In the Asylum (last level I think) U can insert tokens (they look like little silver hats) in a machine..........and when u insert 15 of them in the machine u get the boots of speed

I beleive you can also pickpoket them off renal bloodscalp in the shadow theif guild, second floor

Don't think so. Anyway, it never worked for me.
If you want those boots - and you do - kill Renal after you return from the Underdark. Don't do it before, because either you will be killed by Arkanis Gath or you won't be able to go to the Underdark.

No, you can pick-pocket him if your abilities are high enough. You just can't steal his boots. Which isn't that odd. Imagine a pick-pocket trying to steal your shoes while you're wearing them and you not noticing. :D

I wonder if there's a way of using SK or Infinity Explorer to find out what equipment an npc carries?


If you use SK, check the creatures list.
You will see multiple charts with statistics and one of them is the characters' inventory- which you can edit :D :D

You just can't steal his boots. Which isn't that odd. Imagine a pick-pocket trying to steal your shoes while you're wearing them and you not noticing.


IMO, you can only pickpocket items from the normal inventoy, not the equipped once like belts, boots, sword-in-use, armor etc.

If you have BG1 you can also get them when you import a char into BG2 from BG1. So you can therefore have 4 boots of speed if I didn't miss any one of them?
