Stupid Question

I haven't Played BG2 in about two years, but I decided to start a new game. I'm still in the prison and I can't remember how to get out. How the Hell do I activate the Sewage Golem. Forgive my idiocy... I've finished the game with TOB four times, but I must have had moron flakes for breakfast today.

You need the stone statue and I think its near the thing in the bottle that you talk to. The one that asks to be put to sleep.

I have the activation stone for sewage Golem...but I don't know how to use it!

Go up to the golem, and exhaust all the dialogue options. Just say you want it to perform its function and it should ask for the key or whatever its called and you'll hand it over.

Turns out that I did not have "Moron Flakes" for breakfast...only "Uninformed Flakes". I found a patch that fixes a bug with XP that caused the golem not to speak with me. Thanks for your help though.
Turns out I'm not stupid...YAY!!!
