ok if you ever read a sorc guide you know that int is not at all important for sorc creation, and quite frankly, you dont need it for mage creation either...why???better to spend points on dex and wis for ac and wish type spells...

but its actually better to have your mages be as dumb as possible.... i am thinking of dropping aerie and immie and tashias int to 8 or so...

why???

self involked maze!!! chain contingency, self, maze, abu, abu...

this will not only let you pop away your more fragile mages in a nasty meelee, you can then have your fighters concentrate on killing without worrying about fragile mages...so if your mages are taking a beating, and stoneskin and prot from magic weps are out, maze yourself and concentrate on the fighters...

why dumb?? the dumber your mage is, the longer they stay mazed...for spell mem, use blue or purple portions...or when encountering mind flayers....

Use Firestorm instead of Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting. :D Be sure you're gone long enough, though.

int is no good for anything, except casting via scroll in quick slots...but even then you can always potion swap ANY scroll, any class....

agreed about the firestorm, i initially tested with tashia and inc cloud, she popped back after 3 rounds, went "ooohhhh" and died instantly...

now have you tried eclipse???

a nasty feature in eclipse is constant zone of sweet air in back area....

wes was sneaky, sneaky, sneaky....

i once tried to have each member with stacked elemtal protection and prot from energy, and had mage heavy party chain inc cloud, and cast on self, tried to fry off the shadows and hurt the eclipse party...found out the hard way about the zosa....

but meteor storm, thus firestorm CANNOT be zosa!!! so the next time i try eclipse, will have aerie and jahirea with potion swap chain contingency scroll load up on firestorms, and try to make the eclipse party walk to me thru area effect damage ....

giggle, i did find a way to cheese eclipse... :D :) :p

xyx, old buddy, why do you think i advocated making aerie stupid???

and i figure i need to make tashia arounf 8 int to get a decent chance of making maze last the full 1 turn for avoiding death via inc cloud...

no dumb blonde jokes, please..... :D ;) :p
