I am interested to hear what other people think about it before I install it (because last time I bravely updated without heading the warnings and ended up having to restart my game).

there is a serious ac bug (v 1.23):

Just a question...what is the "ICB bug" that the people on the Bioware forums are mentioning?

The ICB is a bug called the Invalid Character Bug (hence the shortening). It basically says that a character is illegal because it came from a local server rather than a host server (I think).

I downloaded the patch - no probs so far (only played for about 20mins after I DL it) and im still just starting Ch 2. I just got the game...
But Whats the ac bug supposed to be (the link u posted doesnt give any answers)...

The AC bug involves a doubling of bonuses, basically it doubles what a +5 cloak would be for example.

I also d/l it last night and have experienced no problems after the few minutes i spent on it.
My major problem was linked to the secuROM patch which meant my game would crash quite often at startup, so far so good.
