Hello everybdy!

'cause I'v got a very nice experience cause I joined gamebanshees forum I will tell you something I'd promised meself to tell you very much later thatn this but here it comes anyway:

The most powerful character in Baldursgate 2: SoA+ ToB

Gender: Chose (doesnt matter... But you alreay knew)

Race: Human

Aligment: Doesnt matter

Strenght: High
Dex: I prefer high
Con: Medium or high
Wisdom: Low
Int: Max
Cha: Doesnt matter though I love to have a Character with 18

Start out as a fighter!

Go on to lvl 8 with 125.000 but not a single point more
Grandmaster in longsword+ rest of points to short bow

Dual class to mage: This Class is max lvl at 7875000 Xp.

Items: Darkfire bow+5 and one of the many formidabel longswords like: Blackrazor, Arguvendal+5 the Equ. and others
The Sylvian (elven) Chain mail wich allows you to cast spells and the rings and Amulets and helms you would use if you were a normal mage: Circlet of Netheril, ring of wizardry+ acurity, Amulet of power.


Now you're an Archmage and you cant get any better than a normal mage but also you are grandmaster at longsword and shortbow. You are as good a fighter as anybody else (nearly, at least) and you ban cast ex. Tensers Trans. and get even more powerful.

Anybody has another Character that should be powerful please write!

Aye I just wanna say that Ive tried to import a portrait and it wont work!!!!! It says that it is to large though its just as big as anybody elses portraits!! It says something with 50*50 pixel Dimensoins

a wizard and fighter duel classed. I think not. my solo undead hunter is powerful but still there is never a true "most powerful character" since my undead hunter can be imprisoned by your guy but a berserker could destroy your fighter/wizard with rage that makes him immune to imprisonment.
so far a solo undead hunter is the most powerful solo class I've been. with a swashbuckler soloing you can use anything if you have TOB installed and pick the right skill but even that won't make an immortal character. my swashbuckler couldn't scrach the final TOB boss from it's infinite stone skins and invisible when used stone skin.

Nero, du skal bare gå ind i paint og trykke Image, og derefter attributes. Så skal du nok finde ud af resten.

For all of us unenlightened ones who don't understand danish, what in the world are you saying?

Actually I dont agree.

Theres so many different spells that you can cast and through that you can do pretty much what you want with this Fighter/mage!

You can just cast some protective spells and use your fighting skills or you can cast spells only!

I dont say that this person is thestrongest ever seen... Its just the strongest I've ever seen

a fighter wouldn't be able to use all of his normal stuff from being a fighter/mage. you can't change armor in a battle so you would have to start with mage armor on to be able to cast a spell which would leave you open to physical blows. also any thief could beat you with traps. and if they had TOB traps then oy.
I usually don't dual or multi class guys when soloing (or when not soloing).
and I think that a soloing undead hunter is stronger then a fighter/mage.

To be honest (and you wont belive me im sure) i said that you were really nice guys and you were very supporting and so on.. said that I would talk to him tomorrow at school if his advise isn't going to work!

xyx and others have stated, and quite frankly agree, a dual class berserker mage is much nastier than fighter mage, but a fighter thief mage is by far the most evil.....

use any item, and spells...i think unless you install a unnerfing mod you cant get high level mage spells, but really, who needs tham????

chain contingency rules all...

planning to turn valen in my party into a full assassin fighrer combo....

if she at high levels can survive daylight without her special armor, or if wes did not embed her abilites in her armor, she can wear the upgraded vaygar or keldy armor, as per item upgrade mod, and get firkam free action, best in game....imp haste will work even while wearing armor,

Oh, come on guys!!! The "most powerful" topic has been debated for
AGES!!!
Then I think it moved to the "most fun" or the "most believable",
more than once!!!

Actually, I'm one of those who definitely agree with you, a fighter/mage
is killer. But I'd go with a kit.
Berserker/Mages are IMHO the most powerful class available.
Kensai/Mages are IMHO the most FUN class available.

In either case I'd dual at 9th or 12th level (most special abilities
come every 3 or 4 levels) or at 13th for UberPower!!!
@Nero, are you using the Bonus Merchants?
You mention the Elven Chain, but a fighter/mage of any kind should really go for
the Robe of Vecna (again, IMHO).

(anyway, Sorcs even are unbelievably powerful, but not enough "all-round characters"
for my likings... )

now you know why i created bun bun....i like the sorc spell power, and love spells, but wanted to whack away when spells ran out....

The point is, even sorcs' SPELL TABLE is not enough "all-round" for my likings...
