A question on Jan in ToB

Does Jan say something new and funny in ToB, or he is just repeating himself? I mean, if all fun stuff he says is exhausted in SoA, I will summon other NPC I have not played yet.

I wonder, if Boo and Minsc came to kick some evil butt in Quebec, would Goverment first insisted that Boo would learn French? And what would be Jan's reaction on that?
