After loading the offical plugins from the web site I get error messages upon loading:
One or more plugins could not find the correct versions of the master files they depend on. Errors may occur during load or game play. Check the "Warnings.txt" file for more info.

And:
model load error meshes\f\photodragons.NIF
Cannot load file in meashes\f\photodragons.NIF
Will use default object marker_error.NIF

Is this normal after installing the plug -ins?
thanks for your help

Please, anyone. Am I the only one that has had these error messages?

The first warning is frequent, especially after installing a patch.
And:
model load error meshes\f\photodragons.NIF
Cannot load file in meashes\f\photodragons.NIF
Will use default object marker_error.NIF
This sounds like the file might be corrupted. You might want to download that again. Is it causing any visible errors? (Game freezes, crashes etc)

The game has always crashed within an hour or two of play. So I would have to say nothing new on the crashes after the plug-in installs. the message comes up everytime I load not just the first time.

Out of curiosity, what plug in are you using? (The one that causes the 2nd error message) The first error messages are related to the version of the master files (AFAIK) and appear when the game version is newer than the plug in. I see them with all plugins if the patch is installed.

I installed the adamantium aromor plugin, the master index plugin, the bittercoast sounds plugin, and the helm of tohan plugin.
I got all of them off elderschrolls.com.

BTW, thanks for your help in this. :p

ok the 2nd error would be due to the bittercoast plug in. Supposedly the official plug ins (which these are) have been updated to work with the patch. If you're not having any new problems I wouldn't worry too much. :) Those error messages seem to happen with all the plugins once a patch has ben installed.
