Hello,

I've finally this great game.... I'm at the beginning and I'm enjoying it.
I've only one problem: I've casted a Bless spell like a day ago (game time) but the icons showing the spell on my characters are still there but they keep blinking or dissapeared for a moment and come back a bit after..... driver problem??? Maybe but I never had this problem with the BG saga or Icewind Dale I...

I've also my screen that starts to blink (this problem is not linked to my icons' problem) and I must return with ALT + TAB on windows and come back to the game to make it go away.

Any idea??

Thanks.

It happens to me also. Sometimes when I change from a character to one another in the portraits window, the action icons continue to blink showing the icons of the previous character.

I click again on the portrait and it stops blinking.

It seems, however, that the problem is not persistent, at least on my system.

Me it's still persistent... even if I export my characters and start a new game, the icons are still there (and the problems too).... :(

Are you sure it's Bless and not Courage.

There's a collar you pick up early in the game that give the party the Aura of Courage as long as they stay within a certain distance of the person wearing it.

Holy S****, that's it.... I didn't know it was applicable for the other members of my team.... well thanks for that.

The only problem remaining is that my screen blink at a moment (don't know why) and like I said, I must return to windows and then comes back to the game..... I've an ATI Radeon 7200 with one of the latest drivers..... Any idea?

Again thnaks HighLordDave :)

You might check with Bioware and see if they have any known issues with ATI cards. The beta patch they released last week addressed some video card issues, although I can't remember if ATI was on the list.

You might also dial back your video settings and see if the problem goes away. I'd also check and make sure you have the latest version of DirectX (8.1a).
