in NWN, they SUCKED! much due to the lack of the magic fang spells...they simply had the shaft against all creatures with damage reduction, which is actually quite many..
ANY DETAILS ABOUT THE EFFIENCY of Wildshape in IWD2?
the elementals ought to be the most efficient, but I suspect dire bears to be quite good....

The elementals -aren't- very good. But the other shapes, especially dire bear and dire panther, are quite good.

agreed, I'm very happy with the shape change effects of the druids. Using such abilities has actually turned the tide of some battles thus far in IWD2.
