To combine Alchemical things (and I checked that link out but couldnt find specifics on anything that you gave me Kay) I just really need to know how to Make the thing work. Is there some repair technician or soemthing I need to find cause Im assuming the combiner isnt working. That Rod south of the temple thing. I just cannot get past this part and I havent played it for days annoyed at game for it. The alchemist guy i freed from prison just sits there even after I tell him of the lab.. Im just darn stuck any help will be sooooo neat. =P

for the wyvern potions:

put a wyvern sting into the table far left and press the southern rod


for the mandrake potion:

put the fake mandrake into the second table from the right and press the southern rod (if you have an alchemy skill of 15 or higher) or intimidate the guy that walks around there (not the one you freed)

Does not work. I put the ingredients as the note said (And how you said) Went to pull lever and lever says *Acid has fused the gears together, It looks as if someone has been restoring it* .....

did you alread watch the cutscene with the dead guy? (the one you gave the sword back)

Cut Scene? Dead Guy? refresh my memory

i am at work right now, so i can't give you names...

i post what i did in dragon's eye:

1. on the entry level you can free a prisoner (n...?) (in the eastern part)
2. he will tell you about an other guy he is looking for
3. you find the other guy dead on the 2nd level
4. you talk to the guy from the prison again (first level)
5. you find the sword of the dead guy on the 3rd level
6. you lay down the sword in front of the dead guy
7. cutscene: the dead guy show you the place of the fake mandrake
8. go to the 1st level and enter the room with the giant wyvern. get the fake mandrake.
9. go to the guy on the first level and show him the fake mandrake
10. go to the 2nd level (southwest) and force the guy there to make a potion for you (use the fake mandrake!)
11. make some potions by yourself with the wyvern stings
12. go back to the guy on the first level and give him the potion
13. go to the second level and talk to the same guy again (northwest). you have to rest to get an answer or wait some hours.
14. ask him to give you a potion
15. go to the 3rd level. you can now pass the eye of ssseth (sp?) if you drink the potion
16. click on the booshelf in this room. the bridge to the room in the south will lower.
17. prepare for a fight against some efreetis (sp?)
18. talk to the boy
19. talk to the guy you get the potions from again about the boy (t...?)
20. go to the boy and say him that you know who he is and prepare for a fight
21. look for a secret room in the southeast corner of this room (stairs)
22. drop one of the potion made with the wyvern stings into the fountain. (don't forget to take the amulet for the holy avenger (don't know what to do with it yet)) do the same with the three other fountains in this level
23. the iron door in the east will open
24. use the boatsman (sp?) to visit the different places
25. fight the guy with the many eyes (beholder?)
26. don't know what to do now. i can't leave the level (if i just go up where i came from, i don't get the quest finished) and i also don't know how to reach the chest in the middle of the map.

27. there is a portal at (1920, 600)

What a crappy level

Did anyone know where I get more wyvern stingers? I was only able to make 1 potion and theres more then 1 fountain. Also... How do I make the weak mandrake potion a 2nd time so that the guy can take it. Ive tried it both ways and the only way I got anywhere was by taking the potion myself.

Stingers

In your wanderings of Dragon's Eye you should have encountered an entire pack of Wyverns and aquired several stings from them. Those are the only ones I know of.
When you give the potion to the former prisoner he dosen't drink all of it and there is another dose left to help you with getting past the Eye of SSSeth.

Ask the boatman to take you to the lava mephit lair SW of the amphitheatre.

Spoiler alert (highlight to read): The chest is trapped with a horrid wilting spell and contains gauntlets of weapon expertise, a sword +2, a bunch of magical arrows, some gems & jewelery and a couple of potions..
