Quick question about triggers/sequencers/contingencies

I was wondering, would it be possible to have all triggers (2) /sequencers (2) /contingencies (2) active at the same time? Or can you have only one of each kind active at a time?

AFAIK, you can only have one of each active at the same time, without cheating. I had some trouble with them disappearing and when trying to cast a new sequencer, the game informed me that I already had a sequencer active and couldn't cast another one. Don't know if there is a patch for this particular problem, but I ended up using my sequencers very little

One of each is no problem though. Minor sequencer, contingency, spell sequencer, spell trigger and chain contingency.

A single character can have three triggers and two contingencies active at the same time, just like kopywrite said. Total five. But Kaitsuburi is asking about six
@Kaitsuburi: can you name all the spells you are referring to and say something more about what stops you to use them all at the same time?

There are no more types of that spell available...unless I'm being thick. Maybe Kaitsuburi made a typo?

Although sometimes if a character is killed then raised, the sequncer icons will still be present on the special abs bar...you can cast another of the same type of sequncer but only the second one will have anything in it. The first sequencer will make a 'whoosh' sound as if being cast but nothing will happen.

I think Kaitsuburi was actually hoping for more than the total of five, am I right?
(cool avatar, Kait!)

I would like very much to find a way to give them to clerics and clones, instead.
The only way I know of to give a chain contingecy to a cleric is the limited wish... and you can do it only once

Sorry, poorly phrased question
I was wondering whether you can have all 5 active at the same time, that is, Minor Sequencer & Contingency & Sequencer & Trigger & Chain Contingency and @kopy answered it; thanks!
I have another question: I've almost have had trouble firing 3 skull traps through a trigger (lvl 8). I cannot aim in between enemies for some reason and so I always end up aiming at an enemy and getting a "spell ineffective" message. Can some who has had more experience enlighten me please. What is a good way to aim?
TIA

If I understand your question, you have an incompatibility between targetting types (ie Spell Trigger must be targetted on a creature while Skull Trap requires an unoccupied area). I have never encountered this but I have seen similar problems such as trying to cast cone of cold on Efreeti that keep disappearing.
The only suggestion I can make is to change the Skull Trap to Fireball, or maybe one of the Symbol spells.

I've tried and failed to use skull trap in a spell sequencer too...yet Xyx recommends it heartily.
So...

Simply, you have to make a sum of the requirements.
Trigger requires a target.
Skull Trap has a VERY short range.
So, target a close enemy. Set Autopause: spell cast, so
you can make a step back.
Suggestion: don't waste a Spell Trigger for Skulls,
a simple Sequencer is enough.

Ahhh...thanks Littiz. So it was going wrong because the range was too long. Do it with normal skulltrap range and it should be ok.

someone posted a long time back, they had simmie cast spell trigger, and while avatar was casting, during the casting process, hand waving and chanting, they selected jahiera and she got the spell after you selected...i couldnt get it to work, suspect its a engine glitch and baldurdash patch nerfed it...
spell sequeincer family is dangerous, i avoid it now..if you cast at a creature who just went inv, you will have the icon in portrait, and no innate button, so you can no longer cast the sequencer spell, bad for mages, disaster for sorcs...
skull trap is best cast by a prot magic energy, skull, skull, and choose self for target...makes sunfire look cheap.
