Enchant vs Magic

Hey there,

Im building a new char with Enchant as primary, my goal is to create either a thief/caster or warrior/caster combo.

By caster I mean the abitlity to throw a spell by echanted items, potions or casting spell.

Now my question is, is it worth to take both enchant and the others spellcasting skills like resto/destr/alt/conj etc.

Or should I save those major/minor skills slot for others skills? Could I live only by using enchanted items without being to much of a hassle by swamping tons of rings and amulets?

Should I rather mix up both like taking Enchant and 2 or 3 spellcasting skills I wish to focus on? (prolly like conj/desc/myst)

Any insight would be nice :)

Well its all good. It all depends on how you want to mold your character into.

If you want to be more of a fighter-than dont worry too much about the mage abilities-just go with what you need to be a good fighter.

But if you want the feel of a mage, then I would try dest. or alter. or conj. or rest. Its always good to have those spells handy.

I would suggest a mix. Look at the spells of each school and decide 2 or 3 schools you are really interested in. Build on that. With the remaining skills, put in the fighter abilities.

And as you go through the game, you can enchant or find items with spells you like. But it is always good to have the skill to fall back upon.

I mean if youre only going to use destruction for one spell, it isnt worth putting as you major ability. Look at the schools that have many more than 1 spell you like.

Thats just my suggestion. This is a whole opinion thing, you know? :D
