anybody who has ever played kelsey mod knows a little about the caesara's goons...the first encounter they drop a nice rod, not very useful but a jason special that has some ok features, but the second time they drop a amulet that allows anyone to wild surge....
ok, grab haerdalis, and have him drink up potions of sub genius....
and memorize black blade of disaster....yes, you can memorize spells higher than the bard can legally cast, but you dont have the spell slots to cast them normally...
have him with equalizer in off hand, and wild surge, black blade, and assuming it doesnt turn the urchin female, or sets him on fire or imprisons him (hey, a win win situation!!! yes i still hate bards...) he can wildsurge and cast the spell...hit offensive spin, and cast improved haste normallly...
contrary to the manual, you can cast impr haste on a offensively spun bard and have it stack...(though the spinning bard is very very dizzy...) and attack...
why isnt this different from simply having haer cast from scroll???
cause you can have haer mem a bunch of spells he cant cast, like abu and exploit this amulet to give him some rather good abilities...
and if it sets him on fire, no loss...very expendable...
funny, no????
but interesting cheese...
