My duel wielding level 9 barbarian is getting his *ss handed to him everytime I try to win a square. Its not even cloese. Any advise or tips would be appreciated.

prep spells,

haste, invisability, aid, stoneskin, armour / ghost armour / spririt armour. protection from fire ect ect.

and your guys can hang out in the room to the north and help w/ spells and missle weapons.

the reward for completing rank 5 or 6 is very helpful.

In the battle square you see nine squares. You can summon monsters to help you, but they must stand neither in the middle square, nor outside the battlesquares or they'll disappear when the battle begins. Place them in the eight outer squares and they'll stay.
