The stupidest thing that you do to get "Banned" title on GameBanshee forums :
1. You post "*Performing exorcism* on every forum in GB"
2. You reply every thread; except the pantomime thread on GB using only smilies
3. You use black color for your posts
4. You simply repeat every question posted on top of the thread

Go ahead, ad the list !

5. when you see a board member who's got a birthday, you will mention it. No matter where.

6. after earning the "Banned" title, you return under the same name, except that you add "returns" to it. Goes well with the title .

7. after getting banned, again, you return under another name and drop heaps of not so subtle hints as to your identity.

8. You print out the member list and post a new thread for every member, saying; XXXX sucks!

9. Post several threads flaming Buck (referring to him as a Nazi seems to work).

10) Posting the complete song lyrics to "Bobby Brown" (F. Zappa) or "Crazy Rap" (Afroman) while taking extra care to circumvent the profanity filter... ..

11) You post porn and warez sites as threads, and then when Buck tells you off, go back and edit the URLs to be something to do with bunnies...and profess not to have a clue what anyone else saw bad on the site. Then PM Buck with more porn.

12. After being banned, you post the following: "I'd just like to say something before I get banned again." [emphasis added]

13. You are an innocent new member who, without knowing much of the history of the board unwisely chooses the name baaaasssie.

14) Every post you make only has the info on how many posts you have (meaning: "This is my 39th post" then next "This is my 40th post" and so on....)

15. post "I hate this thread" everywere. (i knew a board-member who did this........he got banned)

16. You create an account as "(any of mods name), Sr/Jr" then keep bragging about how (the mod name you use) was IRL eventhough you just made those up !

17) After being banned you return with a new username and "mysteriously" defend your old username that was banned, randomly, as your first post.

18. You ask to be banned. coff:aragorn:coff.

So what are the stupid things you can do to earn the big B on GB? .
Do people get banned often? I haven't seen a single member banned since I've been posting.

19) You start posting links to Warez and Emulation sites and claim that it's shareware or that you thought it was a Baldur's Gate 2 patch

Not really. You got to do some pretty dumb stuff to get banned. The last 3 people to be banned that posted in SYM-2 of them were alter-egos for Aragorn Returns and the other, Gnomethingy, didnt really treat things quite as seriously as they should have been taken. Simple as that. So if you dont have an alter-ego and you keep your thoughts and priorities straight, you should be ok.

well, you've seen a few references to Bassie, who returned later as Banned Bassie. Sailor Saturn got suspended, \then banned.

20. Create an account as "(any of mods/members name) ver. xxxx" then try to confince other members you're hir/her clone, and how he/she was government research subject - be creative, come out with some "real convincing documents" !
