I tried searching on this topic. I found some threads, most just vague clues on how to get into the room that has the door that says "EMBRACE THE SHADOW"

The guy on the thread said to step onto the shadow and off again to open the door. I have no clue what that means. I tired hiding in shadows, I tried dieing in front of the door. I looked on the level for anything that might have a shadow....Nothing.

What am I missing here?

Any help would be great, I love these games but puzzles like this cause me to loose interest fairly quickly

Check back with the painting on the first level. You haven't tried all the options, yet.

Um bro, just step onto the shadow thats on the door, let it hit you once. If you dont want to get damage just have a mage mirror image himself and step onto the bloody shadow and once it does 1 hit on him/her. Step of it and open the hidden door so you can run around collecting pretty flowers around the level or something along those lines.

Yeah, it was a painting choice that I didn't try.

I never had a chance to see the shadow in the room....that would have been obvious if I had seen it : D
