What do you do with Larrel's bones? Is there a quest or XP associated with them?

Could you be more specfic about what part of the game this is?

Larrel's bones are in The Severed Hand in the same room with Orrick The Grey. I have no clue what they are for either. Maybe just a quirk from the first Icewind Dale because they are in the same room where Larrel as a lich was...

i was wondering the same thing!

my first guess is that maybe it was part of a quest w/ orrick but he never seemed interested in asking for the bones, nor his spell book and lab notes that i was runnning around with.

same goes, I am cluless, but heck they do make nice trophies =).

Although I haven't made it that far yet (in HoF), I figured they were for HoF quests. Can anyone confirm that?

Vese (from the lower part of the tower, second floor, in the Thayvian Enclave) gives you a second quest after figuring out the entrance to the Wizard's Tower. He wants you to retrieve Larrel's Bones, Book of the Mythal, and Orrick's Spellbook. A small XP bonus is your reward, but he renegges on his agreement to make you part of his tribe.
