We got the pics, we got the personality, so, how would you think they would sound like over the phone?

It would be kinda expensive on my part talking you guys on the phone, but perhaps I'll try to make some calls to some of my close friends at SYM even for just a minute or two...

As for Sensei, I would imagine that ol' sounding geezer whose voice is more often used for those obnoxious drunken dwarves at BG2. :D Image

Tybs...

...a tallking parrot? :p :D

Seriously, I think Tybs would sound like one of my classmates in high school --- baritone voice and laughs a lot.

Edit- Hey Sensei, Big Mac as Joe Pesci?!!!! --> Image

As or T', I think of her as this lady who played Jean Grey in the movie X-men... sultry and with a lot flames coming...

My picks...

I might be cheatin' on some of my choices, as I have had the pleasure of speaking to my closest SYMian friends over the jelly bone. Therefore, I shall keep my selections free of what I already know to be true...

BS - Ernest P. Whorl. :D

T'lainya - Morticia Addams. :p

Maharlika - LOL, I know what the Scribe sounds like. I used to live in the Philippines...I guess that would be cheating, so I better move along.

AC - The female barbarian voice from IWD2.

Gruntboy - The Psychotic Killer voice from NWN. (that one's my favorite, Grunty) ;)

fable - Ummmm... how about Ernest Borgnine instead?

Aegis - Doug Mackenzie of Great White North fame. Take off, eh? :D

Ned Flanders - Dan Akroyd, definitely.

Weasel - Dr. Evil of the Austin Powers movies. :D

Great thread Mahar!

Chanak - psychotic?! Thanks. :D I never liked NWN so don't know who that is. :D

Weasel, real Patton or George C. Scott Patton? The IRL Patton was actually quite high pitched and feminine (which he hated). I guess I sound a little gruff like Mr Scott. Its my deep voice and Northern Accent.

Ever heard of Jimmy Nail? He's a TV actor and country singer here (Albums: "Crocodile Shoes" and "Big River"), I sound a little like him. He was in Evita too.

My TV movie-based guesses:
Weasel - Dr. Evil
Witchking - Jim Carey as Lloyd Christmas
Waverly - Richard Simmons
Mahar - Toshiro Mifune in "Hell in the Pacific"
Aegis - for some reason, Josh Hartnett as the sensible, thoughtful leader in BHD?
Ysh - Madeleine Stowe
Scayde - Susan Sarandon

?

 I always imagined you as sounding like Ant McPartlin... :D

I never really imagine people's voices...I don't know why. Maybe I'm just not that way inclined...I'd much rather talk to people face-to-face or on forums/IM than over the phone, so it never really enters my mind... ;)

:D

Kam - one of those annoying kids off S Club Junior (I bet he has the stupid baggy pants too). :p

Frogus - Richard E. Grant.
