Will Daggerfall Work On Windows Xp????

im wondering cuz,since my birthday is nearing,im gonna buy it off ebay,and am wondering if it will work on XP.

Hi Mendoza,
I have tried to load Daggerfall onto my computer using Windows XP without success. I just got a message saying 'unknown file not found' (which seems a funny sort of message) followed by a blank screen. Very disappointing as I really liked this game. Perhaps someone more technical than me can give advice on how to make it run with Windows XP even though it doesn't seem to want to!

i just found a thread abot how to make it work on xp!!i dont understand the techinal stuff,so maybe somebody can simplify it for me.(you have to read the entire thread.and its from a diffrent forum)

Daggerfall on XP
I downloaded daggerfall to try if it worked on my XP. I have no trouble running it except that the midi music is weird sometimes and one big trouble... I couldn't swim so that ruined the game cause you need to swim. But have you tried the compability mode in XP?

You just right click on dagger.exe and select properties. Then there's a menu for compability mode, where you can select for example to run it in windows 95 mode. Works for some games so you can always try
and for Dark 'System: Daggerfall worked great on my P100 so I don't think you will have any problems.
