i had finished bg2, and was looking thru the forums, and everybody was talking abot all the cool items you can get. i had a save in suldanessellar, so i thought i'd try and get some of these cool items. first victim was kangaxx- he's dead now. second was the twisted rune-yep those r all dead, then ipicked on the dragons- they're gon. but i wanted to find the robe of vecna, and i don't know where the hell it is. there is actually some places i haven't tried: beholder dungeons(both, i lost the key for the sewers one, i migkt sk it back), and also i didn't kill the demogorgon guy in the ku-toa (sp?) dungeon in the underdark. any help would be usefull.

the robe of vecna is for sale in the adventurers mart in waukeen's promenade. I forget the name of the vendor but she is in the back between ribald and the woman in back selling scrolls. Originially, this vendor and another in the copper coronet (slums district) by the name of jolum, were an early add on to SoA. With the most recent official game patches though, I believe those vendors became a standard part of the patch.

If the extra merchants are not there (i think they came with ToB not with a patch) you can download them here

deidre, who sells you the robe does indeed come with patch, but jonluv does not, so if you want some cool stuff for monks, and the best sling in game (yes, its been tested,,,,use ammo, tho....)
download and install.....

On a side note, if you really want to wreak havoc as a spell caster I suggest you combine the Robe of Vecna with Tragla's Doom, found in Freedom's Reign Mod. Couple these 2 items with Improved Alacrity + Timestop spell and it's pretty much over for any enemy.

If you want to get into mods there is also an cretaed item that gives you permanant improved alactricity. Makes it too easy though IMHO. But if you like cheese and ease try those gloves. Look in the forums and there is a link soemwhere, not sure where though only that I posted on it, and soemone mistakenly called it fables web site, but it wasn't IIRC.
