They only get 3 HP when leveling up

Minsc and my protagonist have reached the xp to level them up to level 10. They both have about 94 HPoints. But.. when I level them up, they only receive one 2nd level spell and 3 HPoints.
Is it normal that they can't get more HP's? I loaded and levelled up again and again.. I rather see them receiving 10-12 HPoints.

That's normal. In 2nd edition AD&D fighter class characters (fighter, Ranger & Paladin) only recieve 1D10 HP for the first 9 levels, and then 3HP per level thereafter. All other classes get their normal hitpoints per level up to level 10, then get either 2HP per level for Clerics and Thieves, or 1HP per level for Mages. The HP bonus for high Constitution also ends at this point.

Heh, I remember in my 1st game where I had been wondering about this. It took me hours to figure it out.(In the manual.

Funny
I always laugh when people have problems like this. I admit I am a manual-aholic, I usually read the whole manual before I even try the game. But even if you're not like me, the answers are often right in front of you, Check Your Manual!
