Help! My sorceress can't cast spells!
She gets to choose new ones, but when she goes to cast them, she gets a "beyond sorceror's ability" message. Wassup?

Create a new one, with high Charisma instead of high Intelligence.

Precisely. Or my wife would say, RTFM.
Charisma, not intelligence, determines the spell-casting abilities of the sorc in IWD2. A Charisma is 12 leaves a sorc able to cast 2nd level spells; a Charisma of 18 leaves them able to cast 8th level spells, etc.

actually he doesn't even have to. he could've RTFD
which would be Read the Damn Description (in the game itself).
