Suggestion for a wiz. specialist

In my new party I'll have a sorcerer and a rogue3-5/wiz.xx.
I want to make him a specialist for the extra spells.
Which school should be more usefull?
I was thinking a Conjurer or an Enchanter because you will lose only one school (Evocation).
I know that a lot of damaging spells are from Evocation, but my Sorc. should take care of them, while I don't want to lose protective and summoning spells.
What do you think?

I need a rogue (probably 3 levels should suffice) to take care of disabling traps, open locks, pick pock..
So I should be able to get to lev. 12-13 with my specialist, thus getting 6th or 7th lev. spells (two minimum).

I would tend to agree with @aberrant80. Do you have another character that could take the thief levels instead? You also might consider skipping the thief levels altogether. they really aren't that critical in IwD II. Use knock on locks, and a high-HP tank for traps. Use a item with death ward effects and cast protection from petrification to avoid killing him. A barbarian works great for this, and gets great resistance scores when enraged and at higher levels. Also, clerics get the find traps spell early on, and many traps can simply be walked around once thier presence is known.

If you really want a thief to disarm those traps, you'll need a dedicated thief instead - 3 levels is insufficient for handling most of the traps once you leave Targos.

true, true. although my tiefling rogue maxed up traps each level, i had to reload a few times for one or two of the traps the goblin fortress; although i did have one lvl in ranger.

You have convinced me, I'll reduce the rogue lvls to 2 for "evasion" (should have started a elven monk 1 lvl and then wizard!!).
But back to my first question regarding the specialization school what do you think?
