Creator Ruins

I have 2 of the words of power and am trying to get the 3rd in the ruins. I have the time crystal from the garden but I cannot get to the sundial to activate it. What am I doing wrong?

Put the crystal it in a quick slot, target the sundial and use the crystal. (I think

) it is the crystal you need to use, not the sundial.

This is a bit late and I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for. But there's a trick to getting to the sundials. Everytime you try to get pass one of the three doorways, the lightning thing will teleport you back to where you entered it. So what you need to do is run across the doorway, then run back as soon as the lighting thing appear. This will trigger another teleport to get you to the side you want.
