Problems switching paper dolls

Edit: Nevermind, there was no problem. Seems I just missed that my character received the hp boost for TWO levels instead of one (12 instead of 6, which with my 16 con, could easily be confused with the max fighter hp boost).

You know that model in your inventory screen. I'm playing a sorcerer and his model looks so wimpy and does not at all fit in with neither the character I had in mind, nor with the portrait. So I changed it to that of a male human fighter. Only problem is I'm getting fighter hp boosts at lvl up instead of mage boosts, I can fix that in SK fairly easily so that isn't the main concern. What I would like to know is if changing paper doll affects your character in any other way? Or maybe if there's a way to change models without ever experiencing any side effects?

to change the paperdoll, you changed the avatar, correct?

this has some severe consequences....

if you change imoen from human to elf thief, she becomes multi instead of dual class...if you change a multi class elf into the human avatar, dual class what ever, and if its a triple class, bad things may happen....

changing to gnome will allow you to cast psionic spells, i think...

so yeah, the avatar affects much of the hidden stuff in the game engine...

I have never seen the consequences of which User speaks. Simply make sure you change the Appearance (under Appearence in ShadowKeeper) instead of the Class (under Characteristics).

ive been told a multi class fighter mage elf changed to human avatar dual classes, and a human dual changed to elf avatar multis....

thats what ive been told, but i always like elfs in my party, and i always play pure elf anyway...i dont understand dual, tho i pretty well understand multi hacking...
