I'm stuck in the severed hand. When I released the prisoners from the second floor war tower, the cleric freaked out and one of my dialogue choices caused him to attack me. He's dead. Now it's much later, and after reading some FAQs I see I need to perform a ritual. Well, I can't. The Tears of Suffering, supposedly from Jerre, can't be gotten, as he won't talk to me without (I suspect) me having talked to the cleric about the ritual. So I'm missing them and I can't do anything. Anyone else have this problem? I can't get to the end if I don't figure out a way to get the tears or somehow perform the ritual. My last save game is like chapter 5 so this will suck. Someone MUST have had this problem. I didn't choose to kill the stupid cleric.

I hope you have an earlier save, cause my guess is your game is dead. Don't know of any way to bypass the priest of Ilmater. Maybe someone else has an idea?

Thanks - yeah i just restored from in the fields of slaughter, got back to where i used to be, minus a few dead things, and he didn't attack me this time. I think there's a bug where if you don't find out about the clerics presence before speaking with him, there's a chance he attacks you.'''''''
