paladin stronghold problem

when i got to the (third?) task at the stronghold-where you have to rescue that brat girl-i had a problem. her uncle never showed up. I killed off her attackers, but he never showed, and the dumb woman just says-go downstairs and keep watch. I'm really frustrated. any help would be awesome. thx

I think you might have been bugged

- apparently this happens a lot in this quest (acording to the board) - My advice (if you have waited long) is if possible to reload - otherwise just move on the Pally stronghold isen't worth the worries

alright, i did reload about 8 times-about half from before i got the stronghold quest starter, and half from the previous task. I did kill old firkragg before i got the pally quests, i heard somewhere that wasn't good. Oh well, my pally is in underdark no w so so much for that....
