Animate dead spell

The summons of this spell seem very strong: they resist damage much more of my best tank: actually I'm in chpt2 and my lvl 6 cleric summoned skeleton warriors (in BG2 you get this at lvl15!!!), boneguard skeleton(!!!!) and some kind of zombie; I haven't seen one until now that was "killed" by enemies, while my tanks get often beaten badly!!!
Are the other summons (animals, monster etc.) as strong as undead (haven't use any since now)?
Anybody has a list of the undead you get at the various levels
and their stats (hp, ac, dmg)?
Thanks

Animate dead was severely overpowered, you could solo entire dungeons with just a few casts, however it was nerfed in the patch.
Unpatched, get ready for Apocalyptic Boneguards, Greater Festering Undead, and Mummy Kings

Right. The only summoning spell that seems to be out of synchronicity with the others, with it favoring the more powerful side, is animate dead. I agree, it is very powerful. Even the zombie you get early is very good (though slow).
There also is a priest spell that casts an insect (I think its called conjure vermin) and this spell seems to be out of synchronicity with the others aswell, except this one is a bit weaker then the others. Big disappointment, I think.
All the others work pretty well with the concordance of the level of the spell, that Ive discovered anyway...

I agree.
And I hate the Druid Animal Summoning spells. You usually get elementals but you do no even gain experience for their kills. And whats more, druids can't even cast protection from evil.
Even in the nerfed form, animate dead is still incredibly powerful.
