Need help Chapter 5

Please don't read this if you don't want to know what happens in chapter 5.

I am in the dragon's eye. I have gone down to the third level... well I have 3 levels I can explore. I am stuck and don't know where to go from here? I don't know what I'm missing, I don't know what I'm doing. I cleared out most of the monsters in the vicinity.
I am desperate for an answer. I've spent way too much time roaming around in circles. I have killed Nathaniel, but I haven't figured out hte alchemist area... nor can I figure out how to free the people trapped in the room. I haven't been able to open the doors on the third level, nor have I been able to lower the draw bridge. I am in desperate need of help!

Ok, I think my problem is I need to free the prisoners.

I have no CLUE as to where to go to free the prisoner. This gate thing the guy's talking about has me awfully confused.

Yes you have to free them and talk to one of the prisoners inside to activate the way to continue in this chapter.

You have to open the prison gate clicking on a bed in the torture room near the prison (is not so easy to find it if you are not looking for it).
