Pit Fiend

trying to figure out how to kill the Pit fiend in the Asylum. I have tried evrything. Any Ideas?

I had no problem with it. Try Breach on it with an hasted group of tanks. Fire elementals shall be useful too.

Be sure to have +3 weapons or better.

Also, don't forget that with prot from evil, all demons will ignore you (thus, have a priest memorize prot vs evil 10').

@Pat Bou: Not all demons will ignore you. Only the summoned ones will ignore you. Nevertheless, Protection from Evil is always a good idea.
@Mattfab: The Pit Fiend should not be any problem. He is immune to fire and partially immune to magic. Use +2 weapons or better ones and hack him down. It always worked as far as my experience is concerned.
