Addons + Enhancements i am working on

I am in the process of creating some patches for the following things to hopefully enhance the gameplay. (note the first 2 things are already done, still workin on the others)
1. The necklaces/rings you find are next to worthless unless they are Laeral tear or Star sapphire. There isnt much of a middle ground for gems, either they are worth a lot of money, or barely nothing, so i plan on making most common things around 30-60gp (the ones that were 2-20gp).
And the middle ones around 200(garnet gem, onyx).
Lack of money and ridiculously high store prices is why so many characters turned to stealing, there is no good source of income except selling magic items, no good respawn spots that you can keep going back to.

2. The wizardslayer will be able to use any item a normal fighter can use.

3. Some of the Areas like the Temple of Amunatuar would have respawning enemies of a higher level, after you killed shadelord.
You could return and fight monsters to gain Xp and treasure.
Also i am in the process of creating some new npcs, however this is time consuming and slow going, since i am coding the Npcs to talk to the other npcs. Thes npcs will have their own Special equipment and abilities (like how they did the npcs in BG2), and there will be more of different alighnments.

I have created a bunch of balanced weapons/armor (got some neat broadswords) for BG2, however i am running into a problem. The items work fine in one game but if you create a new game, (new install) the descriptions are gone. If i can find a way around this i will make them available. Anyone else having this problem?

So if you can think of anything else that could be changed to enhance gameplay, post it here and i'll see what i can do, and i will let everyone know when patches are complete.

Can you make Ioun Stones wearable by anybody and not just fighters? It's a bad thing that mages / sorcerers can't have a helmet, but Ioun Stones? Image

Any disadvantages then? This will make the WS a powerhouse! Let us powerplayers know when you are done. Image

I'll dual her at 13 to a mage or theif.

Yes craig, also BioWare will make Ion stones avaible to all classes in ToB.

I have to say that, from a roleplaying prespective, that I dont agree with the gems, those prices follow AD&D rules very well, also by respawn monsters in the Temple of Amunatuar you are ignoring that it should happen the way it is, its was the shadow lord that open a portal to the negative energy plane, with his death the portal was closed and no more shadows would come.

Well Drakron I was working on an add-on that would create a new boss + monsters, unfortunetly I got swamped by some other projects. However I believe I do still have the gempatch laying around here somewhere. As for the other stuff, the patch for the wizard slayer got erased by accident but the balanced Items I created I still have. And the problem with the items was the earlier tbg format was not supported by my later IEEP, but the lastest version build 26 works fine?. Dont know why. Also I actually have made 3 different Npcs but am waiting till TOB to implement them, as Im sure I will have to redo all the Dialog files and the .2da files dealing with NPCs and thats alot of work. I have a Dwarven Kensai ,a half-orc Assassin and a elf sorceress, pretty much complete with custom script and items and their own area-specific quests.
