How do i get him to join? (in the sewers before you enter cult of the i less) He's always has a red circle round him showing he's hostile, and i can't initiate dialogue coz he's "busy". I have a reputation of 15 do i need it to be higher? or am i just doin somthin else wrong?

Are you sure HE is the one with the red circle and not the goblins he is killing? he should approach you after they die.

Might be something with alignment, but i had low alignment and still had him join.

Umm he should not have a red circle...you must have hit him with an offensive spell.

Is there any way to counteract it? (I killed all the goblins first because i came round the other way but i think i may have hit him with a stray lightning bolt Image! )

Keldorn is (IMHO) a good character to have in the group - it would be a shame to waste him. Try running far far away from him (out of the sewers), and then returning later. Good luck.

Something like that happened to me.
I was playing an evil party, so when Keldorn asked me to identify myself, I refused and he attacked me. I killed him, but his body still had a red circle around it when he was dead. You could still click to attack him, but nothing would happen. When I finished the Cult Quest, it was gone.

Weird...

As a rule, when you play the loner, you have to expect that many characters will have nothing to do with you. I've run evil parties, but always kept a hail-well-met attitude upon greeting anybody--after all, who says that evil characters are necessarily anti-social?

However, Keldorn is not a good NPC to add to an evil party, anymore than Anomen is. If you know of Anomen's nature, that should give you a broad hint of what to expect from Keldorn.
