Stuck in watchers keep because of bug

Im stuck in watchers keep level 5 ( or is it 4? ). its the part where you have to get 3 keys and put them in these 3 things and fight 3 parties of enemies. I put all 3 in, and fought the cleric guys and the flaming skulls and the lich. But i try and turn the 3rd key ( for the hive mother + marilith or whatever ) and it i hear a laugh and then nothing happens. I have to alt esc out and shut the game down at this point. And if i dont kill these guys i cant kill the imprisoned 1.

That happened to me once aswell... I found no solution other than going back to an earlier save.. next time it worked. Sorry I can't help you more.

When you're going to post a thread like this, please indicate in its title that it will contain spoilers, okay? There are many people who have finished ToB and enjoy playing it again and again, but others who are coming here on their first run through. They don't want hints about what to expect on a specific level of Watcher's Keep, and the site owner has specifically requested us to respect their wishes. Thanks.

i have found a solution, completely by accident....

BEFORE you turn the key,

CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("ar3020")

now this will move you into monkey boy's lair.,...do not confront monkey boy yet, take the exit portal, and go back to the heart seal...

now this time when you turn the key, the nasties will spawn...it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :p :D :cool: :) :rolleyes:

actually i just got frustrated, and decided since i could take the heart seal crew using cheese and sequenced sunfires, i should just teleport to the area, and clua in the items i would get....

once i teleported to the area, i noticed the exit portal to level 5 was now active, so i went back and triggered again, just for the heck of it....

i took the heart crew in one round, i had 5 mages, and jahiera with over 100 fire resistance,,, each mage cast spell trigger with triple sunfire and spell immunity evocation, and my group triggered a lot of sunfires on self when they spawned....

annoying, most are immune to fire....

but killed the hive mother and a couple of the supporters, and my kensai sorc made short work of the very dazed and stunned survivors...


turns out most of monkey boy's summons and monkey boy is immune to fire, so i used skull traps cast on self after prot from magic energy...killed him so fast, he did not even have a chance to summon help, or cast time stop, or anything...improved monkey boy...hahhahahahhha
