after
Dune they are now going to make another mini-series
About Messiah and Children from Dune,
(luckly not only about Messiah)
This realy makes my day!!
Anyone seen the old mini-series?
What did you think? Better then the movie or not?
(well the movie had better special effects although it's made 16years earlyer)

Sounds cool.
I'm reading the book now, saw the movie too. But that was a long time ago.
I'll finish the books first. (in a couple of months

I don't know, both movies where pretty cool,
But the book is GREAT!!
Both movies have lousy acting and special effects,
but stil it's Dune, and that's enough for me.
If everyone sais LOTR was a lousy movie, still alot of people would go and see it cause it's LOTR

I love the book Dune...and I refuse to read any of the following books, because I've heard they all suck. Big time.
I haven't seen the movie, but I did see a mini-series a while ago on Space channel. It was quite good...

I'm in book 2 now.
It's not as good as 1, but I'm hoping it will get better.
A little less conversation, a little more action.

Book 2 doesn't get better, but you should finish it, cause book 3 is almost as good as 1.

4 & 5 are even better then 1, and of hearsay, 6 is the best, just started in it, its cool

No way that Dune: God emperor is better then Dune the first book.
Never!, 5 comes close, but none of the books are better then the first

IMHO Book 1 - "Dune" is the best, followed closely by "Dune Heretics" and "Chapterhouse Dune". (5 & 6) .
The Movie sucks - big time, and this is the first time I've ever heard about the mini-series - but I'll check it out ASAP...
