dorns deep puzzle

at the puzzle in dorns deep, the one with the circles with the plates, i cant find any way to get past it. what do i do?

It's been a while, but if I remember correctly, there's a room just before that room with a pattern on the floor just like it. It gives you the correct plates to step on. I hope I'm thinking of the right puzzle.
