I've been playing along now for some time and there are just soooo many quests in this game!
Anyhow, i'm really disturbed by the fact that Jahira wont talk to me, and then all of a sudden it stroke me, i have a reputation of 20 (I'm Heroic ) and maybe she wont' talk to me cus she says all this "We must strive to maintain balance" Must i be neutral to continue romancing her? And how should i then lower my reputation without killing anyone?

A character will never stop talking to you because of your rep. Instead, when your rep gets high enough, evil types will leave your party, while if your rep gets low enough, good types will bid you adieu. Neutrals merely complain if your rep gets very high or very low. There is also a patch that prevents rep from causing party NPCs from taking the open road.

How far in the game are you? Did you ever kick Jaheira out of your party? Are you asking about the romantic scripts?

Hello Fable and thx!

In my game it has passed 44 days, and i'm now in the Shaugin city... i have killed Firkraag, some liche (in the gates district) and aot of other various creatures.

I have Throne of Bhaal installed, and i have some jahiera romancepatch my friend got me. She has never been kicked out of the party, but she died once (which shouldn't make any difference i heard).

I havn't yet been attacked by harpers (my friend told me this should happen pretty quick fter the beginning.)

So what about it? Is our romance dead?

Isn't the romance timer based on real time and not game time?

you could check it yourself with Shadow Keeper. Just DL it, there is a link to it in the sticky Crossroads thread at the top of the page.

Check under GlobalVariables. I think the number for the JaheiraRomanceActive should be 2.

I Dl Shadowkeeper, and the Jahieraromanceactive is set to 1... does that meen i'm out of luck?

If its set to 1, then you're in luck.

1 means the romance is still going strong.
2 means you've almost finished it, or have finished it.
3 means you've ended it in a bad way.

Also, you won't get any romance dialogues in Chapters 4 and 5.

I think you will still be on time to finish the romance. If you have ToB, the ending to the Jaheira romance is the best, IMHO.

So my romance will continue into ToB? I mean there are no harper quarters in ToB so i was thinking it was ****ed up.

Did u allready bring a man to the harper hold which has been poisoned??

If not, then I guess u havent had ANY relations with the harpers yet??

Then this means the romance wont work or is put on hold.......since many dialog options are based on harper events...

If you brought the man to the harpers and did Xzars quest (or what was his name again).......then I advise you to rest in the wilderness sometime.......this might trigger an event which is important if you want the romance to continue.

So, i have been confronted by some important harper guy that i killed (jahiera brought me to him), and then she had some minor dialouges, and now i am in ToB. Can i still finish the romance?

You shoud be able to but I'm not 100% sure, I never did the jaheira romance as can't stand her

Not quite sure how far your romance has gone. Jaheira's romance, like Viconia's, is pretty bug-riddled, so you may like to search this forum on Jaheira or peruse Manveru's excellent romance fix.
