Spell Absorb Question

I have a breton with Atronarch birthsign which gives me 50 spell absorb I just killed Trebonius and he has a wicked amulet that gives 25 spell absorb. If I put it on does that mean that I will have 75 absorb? and if I can manage to get 25 more does that mean I will be able to absorb all magick effects?

Yes, and yes. Nearly all magical effects stack.

Had the "Archmage" talk option gone or he had just another answer on it. In my memory one just had to choose that option and Trebonius ofered the duel (rejectable) on the spot.

Nah, if you follow Skink's path to archmage, you're stuck with a non-dueling Trebonius.
