How to kill golems with low level sorceror?

How can I kill the lesser clay golems in Irenicus' dungeon, I'm currently soloing a sorceror and I'm only at level 8.

Only thing I can think of is bash them!
It is easier to kill them while they are still in the small room near the library while they are still neutral (blue circles around them). So, you can take one each at the time.

I don't remember how I did it. Either one of those 2 options will do... oh, and don't attack while they are blue. That is cheasy.
1- Spider Spawn, hasted. Support with magic (they are not fully immune, IIRC).
2- Shield, Mirror Image, potion of speed, staff +1, and bash them. If needed, cast another mirror image if the first one is gone.

Heres how i did it.
1. spider spawn to tank.
2. melf's minute missile to back them up.

It is really fun to see how my Sorceror's Survival Guide have pumped the general interest for this class to the sky!!!

I don't have any real advice on killing those golems with a solo sorc, however, I always just made sure to close the doors behind me as I went ahead. They can't seem to open them, so even when you trigger the alarm, as long as you've finished everything you need to in the dungeon, you can just exit through the portal west of Irenicus's room.

Like earlier said: force melee with the best abilities/resources.
If you have at least STR16 and have Draw Upon Holy Might ability, that is also very useful (increases THAC0 and damage)
If you have chosen Polymorph self spell you may also switch to a Gnoll? (never tried).

Just give Minsc the Sword of Chaos (Djinni quest) and then just finish the golems

well you did put a lot of work into it so I think you decerved it. besides the sorc. is very fun and good to play with. sorc. monks and assassins are in my eyes the best soloartists.

soloing = minsc and everyone else dissmised

yes just kick them out the dungeon isn't big enought for all of us you know. the sorc. I use really stinks right now he has 4 in str. and 9 in cha. he can barely swing his staff but when he gets girdle of hill giant strength and ring of human in. it's gonna be a diffrent story. then he will maxed out in all his stats with the exeption of con. were he as a sorc. don't need to be maxed out but still he has one extra for the dream with the demon were he will lose one point.
