Dragon's Eye Prisoners

I am playing a Paladin & have a question regarding the prisoners on level 1 of Dragon's eye. When my Paladin (& only my Paladin) talks to Nheero I get an additional dialogue option ("Anything else?"). He tells me that the door is alarmed & if opened guards will appear & I would do well to deactivate the alarm first. Any ideas on how to deactivate the alarm
